Surrounded by rivers and very close to the Mediterranean Sea, the course is set in the Sierra de Mijas Natural Park with breathtaking views of the mountains, and as such is also known locally as “The Seven Hills Course”.
Santana Golf course has a magnificent design by Cabell B. Robinson, with a par 72 over 18 holes covering roughly 6,207 metres, all in an excellent state of preservation. The 8th hole, with a length of 602 metre (658 yards) is probably the longest hole on any Costa del Sol golf course, and favours the longer hitter.
