The Santa Clara Golf Club in Marbella presents a technically challenging but straightforward and pleasant round, on its 18 hole, par 71 golf course. Designed by Enrique Canales Busquets and placed only few minutes from the centre of Marbella, just behind the landmark Costa del Sol Hospital, Santa Clara is one of the newest golf courses on the Costa del Sol having opened in 2001. Nevertheless, it is set to become one of the finest courses in the area, and is well worth considering for golf breaks and holidays on the Costa del Sol.
The Spanish golf course blends dramatically into the rugged local terrain and has been created with respect for the natural environment of the local wild life and vegetation.
The driving range is one of the best in the Marbella area, offering two independent practice tees with 15 places on each tee. The Santa Clara Club House includes an excellent restaurant serving authentic Mediterranean cuisine, situated on the first floor and featuring lovely views of the golf course with the Mediterranean Sea in the background.
