Designed by three time world champion and Ryder Cup winner, Manuel Piñero in 1990, La Quinta Golf is one of the most attractive golf courses on the Costa del Sol. Located in the Benahavís Golf Valley close to Marbella, surrounded by mountains and with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea, La Quinta Golf is a popular destination for golf holidays and breaks on the Costa del Sol, Spain.
La Quinta has become one of the courses that host a European Tour event, with various editions of the Benahavis Senior Masters or the Spanish Ladies Open having taken place here. Golfers will find 27 holes, split among 3 nine hole courses, which are completely integrated into a splendid natural landscape of exceptional beauty. La Quinta Golf is equipped with the most modern facilities, such as GPS installation in the golf buggies.
The La Quinta Golf Academy, a pioneer on the Costa del Sol, is headed by Manuel Piñero and is recognised both nationally and internationally. Facilities include a twin level driving range, a covered area which allows for practice even under adverse weather conditions, a chipping and pitching area with a green surrounded by bunkers and a putting green, a video room for analysis and swing development, a golf shop and a pleasant café-bar with terrace with fabulous views.
La Quinta Golf Club has grown to become a fully fledged holiday resort, one of the most important golf centres in Europe and one of the largest golf clubs on the Costa del Sol.
