The majority of the course flows through undulating land which offers pleasant views of the Atlantic Ocean and also the hills of the Serra do Caldeirão. The player’s accuracy is particularly necessary due to the architects retention of as many of the old trees as possible on the course. These natural obstacles along with strategic placed bunkers and the occasional water hazard make the course a worthwhile challenge to all golfers and an enjoyable round.
